Hexagonal Net
Hexagonal wire mesh (also known as honeycomb mesh or hexagonal netting) is available in two material options: polyester and nylon. It is made of high UV-resistant polyester monofilament or high-strength nylon multifilament and is mechanically woven into a standard hexagonal structure. The mainstream specifications cover 2m×5m, 3m×10m, etc. It is suitable for various scenarios such as safety warning, aquaculture protection, and garden fencing. It supports customization of materials, sizes, and mesh sizes, making it a highly adaptable choice for functional netting.
Core Product Features
- Polyester Version Core Characteristics:
1.Material: High UV-resistant polyester monofilament, density 1.38g/cm³, ultralight (70% weight of the nylon version of the same size);
2.Advantages: Weather resistant and corrosion resistant (2.5-year outdoor strength retention ≥97%), high breathability (air permeability ≥500mm/s), low cost (30% lower procurement cost than the nylon version);
3.Limitations: Weaker resistance to sharp object scratches than nylon.
- Nylon Version Core Characteristics:
1.Material: High-strength nylon multifilament, density 1.14g/cm³, strong and tough (breaking strength 1.5 times that of the polyester version);
2.Advantages: Tear resistant (bursting strength ≥300N), good elasticity (resilience under stress ≥85%), low temperature resistant (not brittle at -40℃);
3.Limitations: Higher cost, requires anti-corrosion treatment for long-term seawater immersion.
Core Application Scenarios
- Polyester version suitable for:
1. Construction site/roadside warning fencing (super easy to install + low cost);
2. Shallow sea/freshwater aquaculture netting (corrosion-resistant and breathable + zero maintenance);
3. Horticultural greenhouse safety netting (good light transmission + suitable for plant growth).
4. Amusement facilities such as playgrounds and jungle nets
- Nylon version suitable for:
1. High-altitude operation safety netting (strong and tear-resistant + high load-bearing capacity);
2. Outdoor fencing in low-temperature areas (does not become brittle at -40℃);
3. Temporary fencing for heavy goods (good elasticity + impact resistance).
4. Amusement facilities such as playgrounds and jungle nets
Precautions
- Polyester version: Avoid scratches from sharp objects; rinse and air dry after use underwater.
- Nylon version: Avoid prolonged immersion in seawater; no additional protection is needed in low-temperature environments.
